Call to Order

Jonathan Trombly called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor of the Historic Watts de Peyster Hall.

12 North Rd  6175.19.514075
14 North Rd  6175.19.512086

Bettina Mueller presented the application for the Area Variance request at 12 and 14 North Road.  She owns both parcels. Changing the property lines will make Lot 14 a little larger by reducing Lot 12.  However, both lots will still be less than an acre. The properties are said to be existing non-conforming.

The Code enforcement officer denied the request for Lot Line alteration because Lot 12 will become further non-compliant with zoning.

Motion made by Karen Cleaveland to make it a Type 2 action for SEQR. Second by Mark Bennett. All in favor; none oppose.

Motion made by Ethan Palmer to set A PUBLIC HEARING for a Area Variance; seconded by Bob Zises; all in favor; none oppose. Public Hearing set for April 7, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor of 86 Broadway.

The Zoning Board of Appeals will make a site visit at 6:30 p.m. before the 7:00 p.m. meeting.

Zoning Secretary Day will coordinate letters with the Applicant and provide the Applicant with addresses for which the applicant must send Certified mail notice of the Public Hearing to neighbors within 200 feet of the property requesting the Variance.

Motion made by Ethan Palmer to accept the Minutes of the July 3, 2023 meeting; seconded by Karen Cleaveland; all in favor; none oppose.

There was a moment in memory of John Corcoran and a mention of a Memorial next Sunday.

Mark Bennett made a motion to ADJOURN; seconded by Bob Zises; all in favor; none oppose.
Meeting adjourned at 7:39 p.m.

Respectfully submitted
Bonnie Day, Deputy Clerk
