BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WORKSHOP MINUTES
WEDNESDAY, June 10th, 2020
The Village of Tivoli Board of Trustees held a workshop on Wednesday, June 10th, 2020. This meeting was conducted remotely and live streamed on youTube.
Present (virtually): Mayor Joel Griffith, Deputy Mayor Majer Trustee Ezrati, Trustee Cole, Trustee Schneider
Public (virtually): Christine Chale, Fire Chief Marc Hildenbrand, Tom Crisci Sr., Peter Sweeney
Mayor Griffith called the workshop to order at 7:00 PM.
The Board made sure the video conferencing was functioning properly.
The Board heard from Peter Sweeney of PSA Studios who explained the results of his preliminary design work and cost estimates for a possible expansion of the Tivoli Firehouse.
Mayor Griffith introduced a resolution to award the Tivoli Crosswalk CDBG project to Frank Vosburgh and Son for their submitted bid of $30,700.00 contingent on County approval.
Trustee Cole moved the resolution and Deputy Mayor Majer seconded. A roll call vote was taken with all votes in the affirmative.
The Board of Trustees reviewed a request from the DCWWA to install an internet service across 4 Village-owned parcels to provide internet service to the sewer treatment plant. Christine Chale composed and read a resolution granting a permit to the DCWWA for the trenching and installation of the internet service cable.
A motion made by Trustee Ezrati in favor of the resolution to grant the permit and seconded by Deputy Mayor Majer. A roll call vote was taken with all votes in the affirmative.
The Village Board discussed other matters including recent correspondence from constituents relating to police and police policies in the Village.
On a motion by Trustee Schneider, seconded by Trustee Cole, and unanimously approved, the meeting was adjourned at 9:20PM
