Accountant Michele Zagorski addressed the Board and discussed the current state of the Village’s Budget. Ms. Zargorski referenced
the Mayor’s recent memo that outlined the overages in the budget as of September 27th. Ms. Zagorski stated, to date, the budget is
$13,094 over budget. Ms. Zagorski stated that she agreed with Mayor Cranna’s recent memo that referenced being over budget this
early in the fiscal year is concerning, and based upon available funding in budget lines, amending budget lines to cover expenses will
be difficult. The Mayor has requested for Trustees to speak with the department heads that they are liaison to. He asked that they
inquire as to what reducing lines would do to their operations. Mayor Cranna said that certain lines may have to be dramatically
reduced. The Mayor wants the information back to him by the October workshop.
Respectfully Submitted,
Linda Gonnella
Clerk & Treasurer
