TO HEAR ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ON THE
APPLICATION FOR A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
Deputy Mayor Griffith opened the public hearing at 6:11 pm.
Present: Deputy Mayor Griffith, Trustee Ezrati, Trustee Bruno, Trustee Schneider and Attorney Christine Chale.
Absent: Mayor Cranna
Public: Naomi LaChance and Judy Scott.
Deputy Mayor Griffith explained that the purpose of the public hearing is to hear all interested persons on the
application for a Community Development Block Grant. Input from citizens and groups is solicited regarding the
Village’s application. Written comments (see attached) received in the Clerk’s Office were read by the Deputy Mayor.
On a motion by Trustee Ezrati, seconded by Trustee Schneider, the public hearing will be continued until September
18, 2013 at 7:00 pm for additional feedback from the public. A roll call vote was taken: Ezrati: aye, Bruno: Aye,
Schneider aye, Griffith: aye, Cranna: absent.

Judy Scott:
- Doesn’t want the ditch in her back yard to be dug up to improve drainage – doesn’t want the frogs disturbed
- Should public funds be used to improve private property?
- Concerned with street lighting and road paving
