Questions, Concerns about the Water System?

Since the severe water main break of January 8th, there have been many questions about where to get information relating to water service in Tivoli. This notice is to help you direct any questions and concerns you may have to the proper place.

As of July 2019 the Water and Sewer systems are being maintained and operated by the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority.  They are responsible for everything from billing to repairing water main breaks and flushing hydrants. The Village of Tivoli and the Village Department of Public Works are no longer performing any of this work.

All users of the water system are encouraged to sign up for the DCWWA’s alert service. Link is below:

Mayor Cranna opened the public hearing at 6:00 pm at the Historic Watts De Peyster Hall.
Present: Mayor Cranna, Deputy Mayor Griffith, Trustees Ezrati, Bruno and Schneider.
Public: None.
This public hearing is to hear all interested persons on the application for a Community Development Block Grant. Input from citizens
and groups is solicited regarding the Village’s application.
There were no public comments.
On a motion by Trustee Bruno, seconded by Deputy Mayor Griffith, the public hearing was closed at 6:15 pm.
