Questions, Concerns about the Water System?

Since the severe water main break of January 8th, there have been many questions about where to get information relating to water service in Tivoli. This notice is to help you direct any questions and concerns you may have to the proper place.

As of July 2019 the Water and Sewer systems are being maintained and operated by the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority.  They are responsible for everything from billing to repairing water main breaks and flushing hydrants. The Village of Tivoli and the Village Department of Public Works are no longer performing any of this work.

All users of the water system are encouraged to sign up for the DCWWA’s alert service. Link is below:

A workshop meeting was held on June 19, 2013 at the American Legion, 8 Tivoli Commons at 6:00PM.
Present: Mayor Cranna, Deputy Mayor Griffith and Trustee Ezrati.
A motion by Trustee Ezrati, seconded by Deputy Mayor Griffith, to accept a bid of $1,000 from Edward A. Stickle Sr. for the sale of a
1990 International dump truck, model 4700, sander included in “as is-where is” condition was approved, all in favor.
